  46.  DESCRIPTION:

  48.  Rname-it is a Win95/NT file renaming utility; batch process renaming.
  49.  It allows the user to select multiple files and rename them all at 
  50.  once. Files can easily be organized and grouped by renaming to a new
  51.  common prefix and/or padded with a unique numerical or alphabetical
  52.  value for sorting purposes. Also features Real Time Preview and Full
  53.  (Final) Preview to ease the user in a complicated renaming procedures.
  54.  Great for graphics collectors and webmasters!

  58.    CPU : 486 or higher
  59.    O/S : Windows95 / NT4 or higher
  60.    RAM : (requirement varies depending on the number of filenames)

  63.     Rname-it.exe -- Rname-it executable. File size = 104,960 bytes.
  64.     Rname-it.hlp -- Rname-it WinHelp File.  File size = 73,282 bytes.
  65.     README.txt -- This documentation file. File size = 6,001 bytes.

  67.  INSTALLATION:
  68.     Rname-it can be run from any directories.
  69.  
  70.     If you have the version without the setup program:
  71.       Unzip the zip file and copy all the included files to a single 
  72.       directory. Make sure you copy the Help File into the same 
  73.       directory where the executable file is.

  75.     If you have the version with the setup program:
  76.       Just run the setup file "rn3setup.exe" and follow the directions.

  78.     Note: MFC42.DLL and MSVCRT.DLL are required.

  100.     Please read the WinHelp file for important information. You must 
  101.     also read the License & Usage Agreement, found in the WinHelp file,
  102.     before using Rname-it for the first time!  To get to the WinHelp
  103.     file, simply double click on it in any file manager.  Or you can 
  104.     go to the main program window, click on [About], and then click on 
  105.     [Help Contents].

  107.     Creating Short Cut: 
  108.       Right click the mouse on any free area in Win95 shell.
  109.       From the Popup Menu, select the sub-menu "New" and then select the item
  110.       "Shortcut".  You will then see an empty Text Field and a Browser button.
  111.       Click on the Browse button and search for the "Rname-it.exe" file and 
  112.       click on the "NEXT >" button at the button of the Short Cut Dialog Box.
  113.       Enter the name field with "Rname-it", then click on finish!
  114.       An icon of 'Rname-it' is created. You can now click on the icon
  115.       to execute Rname-it.
  116.     
  117.  USAGE:
  118.    You must read the License Agreement before using Rname-it.  It can be
  119.    found in the help file "Rname-it.hlp". Just Double click on the file 
  120.    "Rname-it.hlp" in explorer or another file manager.
